Tipton County - Tipton
This courthouse is the third for the county and was built in the early 1890's. This is a late afternoon shot on May 6, 2010 looking to the southeast.
Washington County - Salem
It was back in 1964 when I
first saw this grand old building that my interest in courthouses began.
I consider it one of the best of Indiana courthouses. It is the third
courthouse in Washington county and was finished in 1888, the first one
was built in 1816 was used for only eight years. A closeup of the tower can be seen Here.
Wayne County - Old Salisbury Courthouse
Built in 1811 and reconstructed in Centerville in 1952. More photos on this page.
