High Banks Iron Bridge
The newly restored “HIgh Banks” iron bridge located on CR300S, two miles north of Daleville in Madison County.
Another View of the Iron Bridge
Looking northeast in early morning. This bridge spans the White River.
A Shot Through the Bridge
I love shots of the “Interior” of iron bridges. The bridge was built by the Indiana Bridge Company of Muncie in 1902 and is 202 feet long. This view is looking west.
An Old Barn Near Muncie
I would love to have been able to get more views of this barn….perhaps later. This was one of the most difficult barn photos to show in that I didn’t want to do any cropping.
Another View of the Barn
I thought for sure I would have posted the first shot of this barn but I decided to go for this view of the trees.
Two Farm Outbuildings
These narrow outbuildings sit near the barn and are rather interesting. The photos were taken on March 18, 2010.
Priest Ford Iron Bridge
Looking northwest at the old Priest Ford iron bridge. It appears the owner got the land where the road was and is determined to eventually block the view of the bridge.
Another View of the Iron Bridge
A view to the west from the new bridge is about the only good view one can capture. The owner or county is also forbidding the mowing or spraying of weeds along the new bridge.
