 Round Barn Near Pendleton

This round barn sits three miles northwest of Pendleton. In order to have a nice clear shot of it I had to take out a power pole and wires and also a motorhome that was parked in front of it. Looking to the northeast.

A Closer View of the Round Barn

It appears a new coat of paint is being applied, I am hopping a new roof also, otherwise it may not be around for long.  This photo was taken on November 13, 2009.

Leaning Barn

I almost missed this barn, it was on an interesting road as if I were in southern Indiana. It appears the barn has simply slipped off of it’s foundation. I took this photo on March 18, 2010.

Iron Bridge on CR450N

This bridge is not only closed but the growth is slowly taking over. This view is looking east and a cross road is about a quarter of a mile ahead. I came from that direction and there was no sign of a road. The bridge carried a traffic of 130 vehicles in 2006 and appears long forgotten in just four years.

Another of the Iron Bridge

Looking west through the bridge. It was built in 1910 over Killbuck Creek and is 130′ long. The bridge is located on 450N, 3/4 of a mile east of 300E, about six miles northeast of Anderson.

Octagonal Barn East of Anderson

This barn is located a few miles east of Anderson on CR100S. This view looks to the northeast.

Another View of the Octagonal Barn

Looking northwest at the barn. These photos were taken on the afternoon of March 18, 2010.

Round Barn North of Anderson

This barn sits very close to Hy128 and there is a house that is close to the barn to the right in this photo. Since going on private property at the right time would be the only way to get a good photo, I instead took the house out of the picture. Looking southwest on March 18, 2010.
