Old Friends Church - Rush County
Located on South Main in Carthage. This church was built in 1881 and although it is in a small town of about 900 people, the building and property seems rather peaceful…at least on this late afternoon. This view is looking North-Northwest and taken on Tuesday afternoon, December 1, 2009.

Methodist Episcopal - Henry County
This old church is located in Lewistown, 42 miles east of downtown Indianapolis. I noticed the cupola in the distance over the trees and thought I should check it out. I don’t show many churches but I like this one, a bit unusual. This view is looking to the southeast and yes the old power pole does lean. Looking to the northeast shows the old pole and wires to best advantage but not the church. I very seldom choose to have poles and wires in a photo if I can help it but in this case I feel it adds to the scene.
Wesleyan Methodist Church - Wayne County
This clean neat looking church is located Durbin on the south side of Hy40.
Old Methodist Church - Hancock County
This old church originally was located in the small town of Philadelphia, about four mile west of Greenfield. When a new church was built this one was moved to Riley park on the east side of Greenfield.
Old Log Meeting House - Lawrence County
This meeting house is in Springmill Pioneer Village located in Springmill State Park. An afternoon shot of the Meeting House looking southeast.
