This old house with some additions greets you as you
enter town from the west. It was probably built in the early
1840′s…perhaps earlier. Knightstown is 33 miles east of downtown Indianapolis. This view is looking northwest and was taken in the afternoon of November 28, 2009.

A Federal styled house on a much smaller scale, located on the north side of Hy40. The homes of this period were generally built up to walkway and as with this home there were steps protruding into the walk area. Dublin is 49 miles east of downtown Indianapolis

This house has an addition that was added later. It is a bit different than many federal homes in that some of the steps are recessed into the house. This home is on the north side of Hy40 and this view is looking northwest.
